From Surgeons:

  • Full name, dental license number, and office address.
  • Clinical case data: patient name, scans (intraoral, DICOM/CT), photos, and prescription details.
  • Design preferences: implant type, teeth selection, shade, connection type.

From Manufacturing Partners:

  • Company name, contact name, phone, address, and website.
  • Design files, 3D models, and approval documents submitted per case.

Technical Data:

  • IP address, browser type, and usage logs for security and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To facilitate secure, platform-mediated communication between surgeons and manufacturers.
  • To process and transmit clinical files for design and production workflows.
  • To send case status notifications, including design reviews and approvals.

3. Information Sharing & Anonymity

Platform-Mediated Privacy Guarantee

Inventica is designed so that surgeons and manufacturing partners cannot identify or contact each other outside the platform. Specifically:

  • Email addresses and phone numbers are never shared between surgeons and manufacturers.
  • Case notifications contain only the case number, surgeon name, and patient name — no contact details.
  • All case discussions occur within the platform's secure chat — no direct messaging.
  • Manufacturers see only the case files and clinical specifications necessary for production.

We may disclose information to third parties only when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Inventica, our users, or others.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption: All data in transit uses TLS/SSL encryption.
  • Access Control: Role-based access ensures users only see data relevant to their role.
  • Audit Logs: All case actions are logged for traceability and compliance.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Patient health information (PHI) is handled in accordance with HIPAA standards.

5. Data Retention

Case data, including scans, design files, and approval records, is retained for the duration of the active case lifecycle and for a minimum of seven (7) years thereafter to comply with medical record retention requirements. Users may request deletion of their account data, subject to legal retention obligations.
